My kitchen

I remember one time, an internet friend wanted a recipe of my Christmas wreath bread. But after looked at it she's dead silent. Later she showed me a photo of her oven which was only about the size of a shoe box (my bread had 20 inches of width)! Another time was about how we dried the pasta, a lady used a beautiful pasta rack while others used cloth hangers, the back-rest of kitchen chairs and even cereal boxes. Isn't it inspiring for knowing each other's kitchen? Now Ilva is coordinating an event for all 'my kitchen' entries, so please don't forget to set her the link of your post. I'm living in a rental house, so this kitchen's built by my landlord. It is supposed an eat-in kitchen, but I rather save the space for setting up a folding table when I make pasta and pizza. Husband and I have our meal outside, the dinning room.
  • A - Mainly pots, pans and detergent sort of stuff
  • B - upper is salt of different sizes and textures; lower - hubby's vitamin
  • C - plastic containers
  • D - a cookie and pizza dough recipes that I make a few times a week
  • E - see photo below
  • F - an open shelf for hubby's cereal and my flour
  • G - a cabinet for snack

E - I always keep some tomatoes and chilies for Indian cooking, about once a week. Behind, under the toaster oven is where I store the Indian spices.

F - My husband's breakfast... errr - sugar bomb!

G - A salt mine! I love digging all that potato chips...

Gattina, what a lovely kitchen you have, I loved it!

I like that color very much, is it like a very light pistachio color? Beautiful!

Aww it's an adorable kitchen! I laughed at all of your hubby's sugared cereals.. hee! I'm a potato chip & cheese cracker fanatic too - the top of my fridge usually holds at least 4 different varieties. :D

I love all the light in your kitchen.. and the colors too. I especially like Mr. Rooster on your counter! hehee =)

OK, I've seen your comments in many of my favorite places. I know you understand. The list I read seems huge these days but now I must add you to mine. I think maybe what really got me was the salt mine! Wonderful blog. Fabulous kitchen - I can see your personal stamps making it your own and it looks like people would be happy to cook there. I would.
So it's nice to meet you and your kitchen.

Anh, thanks for your compliment to my humble kitchen.

Ivonne, hehee... and thanks!

Angie, oh you're always so kind *smack*

Kristen, thank you! The landlord painted the color, but I do like all those windows.

Kalyn, thanks! Happy new year to you too!

Ilva, oh I forgot to send you the link, will do it right away.

Pat, you're right! I don't have any favorite on green hue, but the landlord painted it and it looks new, I have no complain :D

Lis, me too! Load me up with sodium, or marinate me in it, hehee. Mr Rooster was one of my Christams gift from last year, you know something we always like to look and tough at store but never buy.

Ellie, yes, they are tomatillas. When a dish is mainly green color (while the recipe calls for tomato), I like to use tomatillas so the whole thing is all the way green, very pleasing to my eyes... or am I too fussy, hehee.

Mandira, thank you! The real magic is from you guys and your fantastic recipes :D

Brilynn, I know, I'm lucky this time. I've lived in another rental flat, its kitchen size was just about 8-tile big, but with some windows, that made me feel better.

Sandeepa, thank you so much for your sweet words :D

Callipygia, thank you! But let me choose again, I really want a very small kitchen; less area needs to clean and scrub...

Sher sweetie, thank you so much!

Peabody, you're right, it's not uncommon for rental even not put up any light for tenants *sigh* Oh the chips, be my guest, hehee.

Coffeepot, thanks! Me too, life wouldn't have so much fun if without these junks ;p

Alison, thanks for your visit! Really, ok, will go and check yours out!

Tanna, thank you so much for your visit and compliement! I see your blog is just wonderful!

Saffron darling! You've been missed!
